Denis McLoughlin must have devoted half his life to producing these annuals. Tons of black-and-white illustrations, spots, strips, and numerous color plates, all of uniformly high quality. Nice book!

Very nice art, especially the color art. Most appealing western album I've seen. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I couldn't agree more with the previous comments. This one is high class throughout. Not just the stories with lovely clear print and the fine artwork; this one also gives a fine background and insight into the various Indian tribes; and also, the entire verse of that popular western song of which we've heard the first verse or two over the years in various western movies, 'The Old Chisholm Trail'. Wonderful stuff. A great scan too. Thank you very much indeed.

Had a couple of these Buffalo Bill Wild West Annuals when I was a child, and I used to loving drawing from them (cowboys, Red Indians, horses, carriages, trains... the whole lot), but I lost them when I went to college. Now that I'm a animator, I know how good the art was in these books. I've been searching for them at old bookstores for many years without any luck. Many, many, many thanks for the share, they bring my childhood back.
