Candy decides to break up with Scott, but he discovers a letter proving Angela had been unfaithful to him. Now Scott can love Candy with no regrets.

Lee arrives and Janice agrees to marry him now that she has no career.

Some time before, her brother was shot in Lou’s nightclub by the police, who were after some bank robbers. Lou gives Michele and her father a rural diner to make amends. Randy arrests Lou, because now there is evidence Lou was involved in the bank robbery, and was also the one who shot Michele’s brother. Michele helps Randy subdue Lou. Now she and Randy can be in love without any hindrances.
