SynopsisBetsy and Ed plan to marry after graduation, but Betsy is invited to join the Olympic figure skating team. Ed threatens to end their relationship if she joins. Betsy refuses to submit to his control and ends the relationship herself. At the games, Betsy falls in love with Czech Jan Cerny and accepts his marriage proposal. Ed warns Betsy that Jan is a communist who will to use her to validate the communist life. Betsy scoffs at Ed's allegations, but is shocked to discover that Jan is exactly doing so. Ed flattens Jan with a right to the jaw. Betsy and Ed marry on a ship as they return home.

When the moviegoer approaches Connie, Don drives him off with a twist of the arm and the flash of a knife. Connie is thrilled to discover her lover is a bit of a bad boy, and Don is thrilled to discover his girl is not quite the straitlaced lady he thought.

Jack overhears Sue, drops her, and begs Myra to forgive him. She does, and they marry.
