Comic Book Cover For Hit Comics #24
Hit Comics #24 (24 of 66)
   By dwilt
Exceptionally high quality art throughout (well, mostly). I like "The Great Defender"--clean-shaven, square-jawed soda jerk takes a special pill and it turns him into a sort of Errol Flynn-looking superhero, complete with pencil-thin moustache.

Looks interesting. Thanks for uploading. I like the mustache, too. Look closely at the lettering across the bottom of the drugstore window to the right of the door. RUBBER GOODS(!!!!!) Tsk, tsk, that euphemism could only mean one thing in 1940's and every adolescent boy knew exactly what it was. I doubt that this would have made past the Comics Code Authority in '50's. Looks like a fun book though, thanks again.
