One feature I like a lot is "El Bombo" by Bernard "Dib" Dibble, which appeared in Sparkler, Tip Top, one issue of Fritzi Ritz, and in one issue of his own. Most of the strips in these comics were newspaper reprints (with some exceptions, like Sparkman) but I've been unable to find any info on "El Bombo."
