Hot Rod Comics #3 (2 of 5)

I enjoy these early issues of Hot Rod Comics. The writer does a good job creating a "real people" atmosphere and the technical detail gives the book an authentic feel missing from most car books (like the generic nonsense in many Charlton titles). The art is top-notch. Bob Powell draws great people and Howard Nostrand draws the heck out of the cars.

Bob Powell art is enough for me! Good stories and authenicity are gravy.
