Movie star Linden reluctantly returns to her home town. Years before, she dated married man Nick; “nothing happened” but they stayed out all night together. Due to the scandal, he killed himself. The town turns against Linden but she’s defended by Nick’s brother Randy and quits her acting job to marry him.
