From 1947, this story features the return of Twilight. Plus all sorts of dodgy dealings. Thanks are again due to Wiseman who provided the original strips which were painstakingly harvested from old papers. Also, he helped solve the problem of a missing tier which was holding up production. There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

Some nice twists and turns. I like the way Freeman develops the secondary characters. I have read that Twilight later reforms and she and Buck become an item (meaning he dumps Zola?). Based on Twilight's behavior in this story, Buck must be a very forgiving fellow.
