I'd seen some of Gene Hazelton's "Angelface" strip before, but only a couple.

Whole little gallery full of some his strips. Appears to be about 30 or so scans.

I don't personally find the gags to be too funny, but man. I really love the art. It's stylish, but still solid draftsmanship. Hazelton is really great.

Hazelton also did a flinstones newspaper strip & a yogi bear one. The flintstones one was better, but both were good. Here's a couple samples:
