Commando - artists and writers
« on: May 27, 2016, 05:19:43 PM »

My pal, Colin - a Commando fan, although fan is too mild a word - is researching the title and building a list of the artists - cover and interiors - and writers responsible for this long running series. As well as that, he has written some articles on the subject and I'm sure some of you will be interested in having a swatch at them.
As a DC Thomson publication, originally, there were no credits in the books, but nowadays, reprints and new material is credited, and there are/were some seriously good people working on the comic.
Anyway, here are the links:-

Once you have read these articles, you might want to investigate some of the other articles from Colin.  Interesting stuff, indeed.

Actually, compulsive obsessive is closer to the mark.

I now only need another 60 cover artists and I have the full run, but still got almost 300 of the internal artist to go.

So if anyone has information, I would gladly welcome it.
