I'm curious how you managed to scan the Wham-o Giant Comic.  My copy is so huge I have to store it in the bottom of my sock drawer because it won't fit on any of my regular bookshelves?

Kinko's (they have oversized scanners) comes to mind to me, you can set the dpi and they save to CD for storage.

Or you can just scan each page in sections, Joe,
and assemble them into page format in Photoshop. When I produced my book on Everett Raymond Kinstler, his wife scanned a lot of originals for me in six or eight pieces. You can't imagine how much time it took to carefully align the scans into a single image for a page in the book. It can be done, and that's fine line pen and ink work. A comic page like Wham-O would be a piece of cake compared to that - just stitch the pieces in the margins between the panels.

narf,
Here's a lesson in just how MUCH artists can change over time:

Going Steady V3:4

The Wrong Bunch - Ted Galindo (& inker)
I would most like to go steady with... - ?
The Rival - Bob Powell (believe it or don't)
Got a Match? - probably Joe Simon
Why Can't Boys be Men? - probably Joe Simon
Split - Joe Simon (definitely)
Poison Personalities - maybe Simon?
Target for Today - ?
New Fads for Teens - ?
Never Again - Bob Powell (believe it or not)

FYI (|:{>

Your right it is hard to pick Powell out of that. In the Rival I see Powell in a girl in a yellow dress and the crowd scene with waving from the car looks like his work in Henry Brewster.
Last panel on page 29 looks like Powell from Henry Brewster. While some of the panels, especially the last, on Never Again are horrible, I actually like some of the others quite a bid. Has an odd breezy appeal that occasionally works some how.

Didn't mean to imply that it was bad, narf,
just completely different from the style we knew so well only a few years before.

Wow check the Charlton section, Check the Tower sections and there is even a St John romance Going Steady. Jody been busy. Be sure to check the UNKNOWN section. Help us identify the unknown humor mag. I think is is a Harvey Flip while Jody thinks it might be a Madhouse of Bughouse. We do not have any Flip to compare but the art does look like it could be from Ajax. I base my Flip guess on What A Family which appears in some Harvey titles.

Another batch of Charlton and ACG from Jody. Sunday Pix was uploaded but had a proper copyright on the last page. David C. Cook publishing is still in business. If someone checks and finds that they did not renew the copyright we could still carry it.

Another big batch of Charlton from Jodyanimator. Shadows from Beyond 50 was actually another copy of Green Planet. Just Married 60 and 64 were copyrighted but appreciate the effort

Any chance of jodyanimator re-upping Captain Marvel Presents the Terrible 5 #1 and v2 #5? I still have the corrupted files on my hard drive and have tried file repair programs to no avail. :(
