Christmas Comics Compilation
« on: December 04, 2016, 08:18:56 AM »

I;m thinking of creating an archive of holiday comics. I have a few picked out, but I could use some help in pointing out comics of CB* that have Christmas stories (or Hanukkah or any other seasonal holidays). Christmas themed titles like Santa Claus Funnies and Christmas With Mother Goose aren't hard to find, but I'm looking more for regular titles that featured holiday stories, like Tom-Tom the Jungle Boy #22, Daredevil #106. The Spirit and Captain Marvel have some but I don't know what issues. Pulp and dime novel stories are good too - I've found a Sexton Blake. If you can also name some OTR shows (I have Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan and Sgt Preston shows), I could include a page of links to those.

Great idea.  Story papers could be a rich seam for you.  Have a look, as most of the ones we have are dated, they are easy to find.  There was a great tradition of publishing "special" Christmas issues of a number of titles.
