Greetings from the UK
« on: February 24, 2017, 09:07:09 AM »

Hi to fellow members and the CB+ team! I'm a comic book/art/nostalgia addict living in a small village in Kent, England. It was my good fortune to stumble upon this site whilst surfing for material harking back to my youth (some 45-50 years ago). The allure of quality artwork and imaginative storytelling, as evident in publications by DC, Marvel and, in the UK, TV21 particularly, has remained strong. This site introduces me to even earlier fascinating examples with some (perhaps not all) very fine illustrations. Highly interesting and entertaining. Thanks to all concerned.

Hello Artypharty and welcome to CB+.  You're not alone in being a "comic book/art/nostalgia addict".  There's a lot of it about here.  Please join in the discussions and the reading group. Not only a lot to discover in comics but also, some of the illos in pulps and storypapers are excellent.  If you aren't already aware of it, have a look at The Thriller, a weekly British crime paper which featured some well known thriller authors and a lot of high quality illustration. It lives here:-
