New online cover gallery: The Blonde in a Red Dress
« on: March 19, 2017, 05:37:31 AM »

Hello! It's been awhile since I've had time to post here, but I just wanted to share a new Golden Age comic website I've started: http://www.blondeinred.com/

The site is  a tongue-in-cheek tribute to "the most popular comic book cover girl of the golden age", a nameless woman in a red dress with blond shoulder-length hair. I first noticed her being traced multiple times on the covers of Eerie by Avon, and the idea sort of took on a life of its own from there. (A longer explanation of the premise & inspiration behind the blog is here: http://www.blondeinred.com/about/ )

Each day I'll be posting a new random cover featuring this ubiquitous Blonde in a Red Dress. All the cover scans I'm using so far have been taken from here at Comic Book Plus (and/or the Digital Comic Museum). So thank you all for providing the cover resources I'm starting from! I hope you enjoy the fun, and feel free to share any questions, comments or suggestions. :)
