Renaming Categories
« on: April 26, 2010, 10:55:07 PM »

Does anyone mind a renaming of categories. Comic House is more commonly known as Lev Gleason. As JVJ has mentioned Rural Home would be more accurate for Croyden. Harry Chesler as Chesler. These are the names I have always known them by.

I think it is overdue -- and it makes sense also. I never say "Comic House" -- I always say "Lev Gleason".

I don't mind at all. One of my particular joys coming to this site, besides getting a chance to chat with y'all here, is going through all the categories "to see everything" anyway.

Absolutely, narf.  We would probably retain all the other name conventions in the comment details after the heading anyway...right?

I  have nop;roblem for renaming categories, but I do think that it would be good to have "type" categpories as well. Some people only like one or two types and might have feel discouraged looking thru something like Charlton, Quality or Fawcett for a type of story.  A few categories might ioncluide the following:

Super-Heroes
Western
Horror
Science Fiction
Literary Adaptations
Kids
Movie Adaptations
True Life
Romance
Action and Adventure
Historical

Etc.you get the idea I think.

I only look at the English comics and storypapers. T
The only americain comics  I look at are superman and bat man but I don't think they are in the public domain. Yours John Hamer
