I Left their names off the cover recreation to avoid legal problems with kendra crossen burroughs,DC Comics,
marvel comics,archie comics,AC Comics,image comics,and dynamite entertainment!
Let me know what you think.

Thanks again, narfstar!  (To quote Bugs Bunny's nemesis, Rocky:  "I don't know how yez dunnit but I know yez DUNNIT!")   ;)

I'd just add a couple of minor tweaks to the Charlton Society of Derby:  In with Son of Vulcan (as mentioned elsewhere); out with Superguy, Captain USA, and the Green Spider (all just over the line into Super-Silly).  (Yeah, I know ... so's the Shape ... but at least there's somewhere farther off to go with him, characterization-wise.)

Ibis = Doctor Fate
Blue Beetle = Hourman
Yellowjacket = Wildcat
Mercury Man = Hawkman
Mr. Muscles = Mr. Terrific
Zaza the Mystic = Johnny Thunder
Nature Boy = Spectre
Diana the Huntress = Green Arrow
Spookman = Starman
Shape = Batman
Doctor Graves = Zatanna
Nyoka = Black Canary
Hercules = Wonder Woman
Son of Vulcan = Shining Knight

Pretty cool Fate.

Well if you kick out Superguy and Captain USA then Green Spider has got to go also. Which is OK. Of course we could do a comedy superhero JSA. Man something else to think about  ;D Have you seen the character Upan Atom?

OK, point taken and done deal with Green Spider (as above).  Of course, since we **are** thinking alternate DC team here, the Charlton Society of Derby **would** eventually have to meet the team of "Atom"-powered funny animals on a parallel Earth, a la Captain Carrot & company.   8)

Sorry, never heard of Upan Atom ... do tell.

[EDIT:  Just a little something to run with, so that more than just a few folks here have fun with this thread!]  Oddly, the equivalent Fawcett team would likely be the easiest to establish, since that company had at least three existing smaller teams from which to cherry pick, mix and match per the needs of each story:  the Marvel Family, the three Lieutenants Marvel, and the Crime Crusaders Club.  Add in Spy Smasher, Radar the International Policeman, and any lesser lights from the earlier Fawcett roster, and there you go!

Captain Atom=Superman
Cat-Man=Batman
Cometman=Starman
Blue Ghost=Dr Midnight

That is all that I could find in Australian PD. I am sure there are more.

HEY NARFSTAR... I have a few new Aussies to add to the list!
  The Eagle = Hawkman
  Masked Archer = Green Arrow
  The Panther = Wild Cat?
  Silver Starr = Adam Strange
  Vampire = Black Canary (or Batgirl)

That's all I can think of.

If there was an Australian Team (and it was limited to Golden or Early Silver Age) I suggest

Captain Atom - Superman
Blue Ghost - Batman
Dark Stranger - Black Canary
Kazanda - Wonder Woman
Char Chapman - Wildcat
Molo the Mighty - Martian Manhunter
Crimson Comet - Hawkman
Captain Power - Adam Strange      https://www.lambiek.net/artists/p/pitt_stanley.htm

Batman - Several Possibilities inc;-
The Australian Shadow
The Raven (Paul Wheelahan version)    https://www.lambiek.net/artists/w/wheelahan_paul.htm
Catman (John Dixon)                         https://www.lambiek.net/artists/d/dixon_john.htm
Sir Falcon

NarfStar lists

1/ Jetman. The Australian Industry was full of black and white reprints of English and American comics.

I don't know where Jetman comes from but everything about the layout, dialogue and placenames in the story says its an American reprint.

2/ Grey Domino. Thought this was an English Reprint because of its overwhelming Englishness. Apparently its creator, Terry Trowell spent a good period of his life in England. Created in Australia but not characteristically Australian.   https://www.lambiek.net/artists/t/trowell_terry.htm

Australian Comics of this era are very difficult to get hold of, I sold the few I had decades ago. If I ever manage to come across any I will endeavor to post them.
