I have the main page bookmarked, and when I visit it, it automatically logs me in.

However, if I click to go to the Forum, it loses my log-in and I have to type in my login/password to post.

It will actually switch me from automatically logged in ("Welcome Eddie73") and not logged in ("please log in") back and forth and back and forth, if I switch between the Forum and other pages.

By the sounds of it, it is a cookie problem. If you clear them it should be fine, but you could try on another machine and see if you have the same problem.

Is it possible that they are separate, I know I have to log in both places by themselves, most sites and forums require log in at both, logging in at site does not log in at forums.

I think you may be correct in that Movielover.  I know that moderators and administrators also have to log in again when they want to do any of their duties.
