Image filters?

Unfortunately, some of your comics are not as readable as I would like them to be. There must be some kind of image filter I can set up to help me with this and there is probably one for the iPad. Do you know of anything like that?

Comics are scanned by a wide variety of scanners over many years. Each comic would need to be individually adjusted by the reader so I do not think any one time of filter would work. If you find a bad looking comic please feel free to improve it with a photshop program. While we don't just replace scans we do want to replace bad scans with good ones.

Ok, thanks. I guess I got the idea from some of the Jack Kirby museum posts that allude to mystical filtering processes their comics undergo. I might do some research into that.

I give up. The Kirby museum gives me a headache.
