Scans in FTP
I do random acts of scanning.  I have noticed not a lot of rhyme or reason behind what I scan, when.  This book just caught my eye so I did it.  Not a particularly note worthy books but a nice little obscure offering.  And I am Mr. obscure.  BTW I am thankful for an understanding wife.  She can not relate, but accepts that an old man will buy and take the time to scan comic books for others to read. Gotta lover er! :-*

True Confidences #3 Canadian Edition which only has a different cover even the indicia is the same as the Fawcett.  Scanning would have detached the cover so this is digital camera but it is cover to cover.

Yoc is on vacation; so we're waiting for a week or so to get moved over.  Don't think you're either being singled out or unappreciated!

Thanks narfstar, l will download them just to check, the file size on the War Battles seems very small, surely it did not have that many adds? Speaking of which, would it be possible to scan the adds as well, to save us searching for a c2c copy later, please.  :)

Both Green Turtle and Jun-Gal have different artist and I think the Writer on Turtle is different.  Otherwise looks the same as the others.

Blazing Comics #5
« Reply #68 on: August 17, 2008, 04:56:47 AM »

Yes it is real! ;D The fifth issue of Blazing Comics with another Green Turtle and the same cast as the other books.  I am pretty sure Turtle was not written or drawn by the same guy as the others and Jun-Gal had a different artist. Come and get the Cover to cover 300dpi SCANS!!!

Hey Narf,
I wanted to thank you again for the extra special attention you put into Blazing Comics #5!
Thanks for bringing this to everyone here.
One day I'd love to collect the entire series in an archive if my partner Phabox felt like doing it.

Take care,

Correct me if i'm wrong but as I understand it at this moment in time we're still short a good chunk of Blazing Comics_001 so until the missing stories from this issue are located we would not be able to undertake a full 'archiving' of this titles stars.

Still we do appear to have a complete set of Green Turtle and Jun Gal adventures so I guess thats a start.

The Blazing 5 was a very fortuitous find as I was unaware that it existed.  Well worth the $30 bucks I paid for it for the value it brings here.  Finds like that and an affordable copy of Bang-up that I was able to scan make for a good year in GA scanning.  Top that off with the wealth of stuff so many others have been contributing and the joy can hardly be contained.
