If you want to see other characters that Uderzo worked on, go find some Asterix the Gaul books.

I vaguely recall having heard of this before, but that doesn't make this any less mind blowing. Asterix and Uderzo aren't that well known in the US, but it's almost impossible to overstate how important they are worldwide. I'm trying to come up with some comparison to convey just how weird and wonderful a find like this is, but nothing is coming to mind in US terms.
