Hello everyone,
I've just learned some very sad news from Roygbiv666 and confirmed by Darrin Wiltshire that Richard David Boucher (Mr_Goldenage) passed away April, 15, 2018 at the age of 62.

Richard was co-owner along with Darrin Wiltshire of one of the first GA comic sites I ever found 'Good Guys and Gals of the Golden-age.' Richard's love and knowledge of GA comics was one of the inspirations for sites like DCM and CB+. He will be missed.

This is very sad news, the loss of a real character.

Very sad news. Richard had a fascination for the more obscure corners of comicdom, a fascination I share, and that thirst for knowledge that Richard had was particularly focused on superheroes and Masked Mystery (Wo)Men.  His delving into European comics history and especially, the world of Italian comics and heroes, yielded a lot of information and comics.
Richard was always happy to share with me and, despite being continents apart, we got to know each other quite well. Comic files and physical packets of books and dvds must have passed each other on their way across the Atlantic.
Richard shared his knowledge with us here on CB+, on DCM and other sites.
His passing leaves a big gap in our lives.

Pity. He was a nice guy and I still have the dvd he sent me of obscure superhero films/tv shows from around the world (volume 3, I believe).

He always had some entertaining oddity he wanted to post.

That's a damn shame, so young too. He's made so many great contributions to CB+ which I've been privileged to read and enjoy...RIP Mr Goldenage.
