I was amazed to be able to read some old comics on my android phone and decided to try and find some more by trawling the net...  I found the Digital Comic Museum 1st and downloaded a few titles. I was then searching around and fell over this magnificent site. Even though most of the titles are older than myself, I was an avid collector in the 70's & early 80's and recognize many of the titles posted in here.
Great memories and a huge nostalgia ride...

Many thanks Guy's & Gal's...

Found you through a post in the Alter Ego Yahoo group. I have a special interest in old comic book fanzines of the 60's!

A friend in Wales referred me to DCM and I found this site from a link there. I'm an American (please don't ban me  :)), been reading comics for 40 years but appreciate comics and comic strips from well into the 19th century. I'm looking forward to checking out your Alter Ego archives. Thanks for creating such a great resource!

I found this site on google while researching public domain superheroes. I have been interested in heroes that have some sort of pedigree, but anyone can use for some time. Most of the medium's prime movers are under lock and key, however, it seems there is renewed interest in guys like the original Daredevil, Stardust the Super-Wizard, etc. Just thought I would see what treasures might could do with a little dusting off!

Welcome aboard CC.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of obscure super-heroes among the comics on this site.

I found this site because Erik Larsen posted a link on his forum! I am a huge fan of this material and am very excited to be here. You can probably expect to receive a donation from me as soon as I run out of bandwidth, because I am a voracious reader!

On the web of course! I'm a comic fan ever since my Uncle ran his drugstore in Omaha (1950's-80's) and had boxes in the basement of old comics.   Would like to share a few rare ones collected.  Let me know how I can best do that....Also I'm an artist, hoping to one day animate one of these :-) ! Wish me luck.  Cheers, Matt

Welcome aboard Matt.  We're in the process of upgrading our upload system (as well as the whole site in general).  As soon as all is ready we'll give you the word as we'd love to see anything you have to share.

I'm an old artist type myself having graduated from the Kubert School about 30 years ago.
