I have yet to read any of the Tim Holt comics, but I must admit this, Tim Holt's b-western movies were some of the best I've ever watched. Not quite on the level of Sunset Carson, or Roy Rogers' work with William Whitney, but great stuff. If you want to see some, I can send you a few. They are well worth watching, if you enjoy the idea of the true-good-guy versus the true-bad-guy.

I appreciate all of the scanning and scrounging for copies of old comics but I still can't read all of those zip files. How do I change the file names or do I need another program?

With the aid of the following programs -- TUGZip, IZArc, Filzip, and CDisplay -- I can open any file presented on GAC.

As an illustration, let us say that I downloaded Wings #98, but cannot read it in CDisplay. As a solution, I use one of the aforementioned programs, Filzip in this case, and unzipped the individual jpegs into a new folder. Afterward, I can open the new folder in CDisplay and read the comic with no problems.

Or just rename the .zip file to .cbz and it will open with CDisplay. I single click on the file name in the folder, highlight ".zip" and retype ".cbz". Windows tells me that "changing a file's extension can have disastrous consequences, but I do it anyway and everything always works.
