Thanks for these great compilations. I've always had a fondness for Cat-Man and the Kitten. I'd love to know more about Charles Quinlan. He's one of those Golden Age artists who weren't necessarily in the top tier, but who turned out interesting work. He apparently wrote a lot of his stuff, with his son, according to some references. Cat-Man certainly went through major changes, from the beefy green guy to the retconned later version with a new origin and a recurring villain.

Yeah, Quinlan is a great yet pretty obscure artist: I could never even find a picture of him on the internet! He was the writer, artist and editor on the Cat-Man Comics series for most of it, and I just love his art style. He definitely defined the character, being the one who created his iconic orange costume and who wrote most of his stories.
