I was good friends with Leonard Starr who wrote and drew "On Stage" for many years for the Tribune Syndicate.
At dinner once at his home in Westport, he told me that "Myra North, Special Nurse" was his favorite all-time comic strip and the prime motivator for his wanting to do a comic strip when he reached maturity.
I said that it had also been special to me also, tho' I'd never seen it in the papers but reprinted in Tip Top Comics or perhaps Comics on Parade.
It cemented our friendship and subsequently I appeared in the strip as a focal character named John Courtos in 1968-9.
I still love mysterious Myra North and I thank you for re-presenting it.
