Hi Gang,
I am reminded the scans for Pep17 on the site are from a reprint.
Anyone got paper to scan of this one?

Uploading Pep #17 now.
I've been working off and on for a couple of years to complete the super-hero MLJs to ctc status. Here's what is still needed I believe:
Shield-Wizard #13 (existing scan is very incomplete with only 37 images)
Pep #51 again existing scan very incomplete with only 41 images
Pep #63 and 64 existing scans are both missing two pages due to Katy
Keene cutouts (I'm pretty sure that's the problem)
Top Notch 32 missing centerfold and covers
Top Notch 38 missing 2p Dotty+Ditto
Top Notch 39 missing 1p Dotty+Ditto
Top Notch 40 missing 4 pages
Top Notch 42 missing 1 page + inside covers
Top Notch 45 is the last issue of the series and is missing completely
though it had no superheroes
Zip 36 missing 2 cfs
Zip 37 inc
Zip 38 missing ifc ibc

And if you see any other out of date versions on the site please feel free to update them as well.

Goldcomics.com has what I believe is complete MLJ superhero books. I just bought a download of Pep 17 before Jon's posting. Are there any others that we need maybe I can switch downloads.

Gold Comics scans are not complete in some cases. Unless they've updated their scans in the past few years, they are missing all the pages I mentioned.

Other sources will be needed to get those books completed.
But thanks for trying Narf. I checked Gold before asking and didn't get anything from the site that would tell me if it was a reprint or colour so I asked here.

Personally, I'm very glad to see this rare book in color anywhere, let alone be able to read it. Thanks for posting it Jon. And thank you Yoc for allowing it to get posted.

Hopefully we'll be able to track down paper scans of Pep Comics #22 and #23. Right now, we've got fiche. Better than nothing, of course, but paper is always preferable. ;)

Hmm, I'm not sure if Pep22+23 are fiche or not.
They aren't as sharp as you might expect for paper but they are Very well done fiche scans if that's what they are...

They actually are fiche scans, apparently (so is issue #25). But you're right -- they're very well done.
I just hope that paper scans show up at some point. :)

I have a coverless copy that could be scanned but it is missing the centerfold. Is this useful?

Jon uploaded a paper scan of Pep17 so we are good but thanks very much for your offer.
But if you have any of the missing pages from the list Jon supplied we'd love to have them:

I checked the Top-Notch issues that I have and didn't see any that matched up with your list. I will look for other issues that are needed. I was a little late with the Pep 17 scans. I noticed the new Pep 17 looked really good.
