Uploading Strange Suspense #22 Charlton Nov-1954 to the ftp. :) c2c as always.
-
Thanks fett Strange Suspence 22 is now onsite
-
Thanks Fett!
:)
-
Uploaded Fighting Undersea Commandos #2 Avon Aug-1952. Think that plugs a hole. :)
-
Uploaded a c2c scan of This Magazine Is Haunted (Volume 1) #18. I noticed the site just has the old scan that only has 31 pages. :)
-
Now up, thanks Fett!
:)
-
Mutiny #3 published by Aragon Feb-1955 uploading now. :)
-
Thanks Fett!
I've added this to Unsorted. If it belongs somewhere else please let me know gang.

-
Published by Aragon Magazine according to indicia, but GCD has Aragon Publishing listed as an imprint of Key Comics? Not sure why. Any GCD'ers available to enlighten us? :)
-
Woot! Great to see ya here, Fett! WTTB!
-
Not sure where this post properly should go. Just noticed Submarine Attack 54 in the Charlton folder. This is a Feb-Mar 1966 issue. I thought we had to keep to 1959 or earlier.
-
True enough Tarzan.
-
Keep the Charltons coming thanks a lot fett now up Strange Suspense Stories 28
-
Thanks for your work Fett!
-
Uploaded my COMPLETE scan of Unsual Tales #10 Charlton , Jungle Jim #15 Standard, and Sam Hill #4 Archie :)
-
fett, where did you upload these? To the ftp? The only thing there is Complete Charlton 40s50s?
-
Used the site upload button. Worked fine on this end. Uploading Don Winslow #72 atm.
-
Maybe it's me. I don't see anything.
-
Getting 4 ok's on my end so they're going somewhere. :)
-
Whoops guess I should confirm them eh? ;) Been over a year since the upload worked correctly for me.
-
Okay, Don Winslow is up.
-
Good to see you drop back by Fett and an upload bonus to boot
-
OK the others Im getting an error message saying I can't upload into the base folder? Did my failed upload attempts create a folder I can't write into?
-
You're probably trying to upload into the root directory. Did you select a proper folder (like Charlton) into which to upload?
-
Sam Hill #4 is onsite. We already had a c2c of Unusual Tales #10.
-
The scan you already had was a copy of my scan grabbed from usenet or the hubs, but reduced in size to barely 4 megs. My original scan that I uploaded was around 35 megs. If you don't want the better original scan I won't bother to upload my books here anymore. Let me know. ;)
-
Oh yeah better scans are good upload away fett
-
Uploaded my original scan posted to abpc of Danger #12 also. The "version" you have on site here is only 4.5 megs. Looks like it hit the chop block too. ;)
-
fett,
I'll take care of this replacement this evening if no one has acted in the meantime. I'd say the original scanners scans are always the most welcome, unless they are horrendously large. 4MB has to have the ad strips and bad reduction (or ad with sever reduction to about 100K a page.
-
Thanks Jon. :) Didn't know you were a moderator here now.
-
Danger #12 is up.
-
Uploaded Just Married #5, Charlton "romance". Also do any of you mods see a Jungle Jim #15 (Standard) that I uploaded?
-
Just Married is now up but I see no Jungle Jim
-
fett,
I don't see your Unusual Tales or Jungle Jim either on the FTP or as an unapproved upload.
-
Guess one of the other mods deleted them. I will upload them one more time. :) After Strange Suspense 29 that is.
-
Never saw them in approval area
-
Uploaded Zoo Funnies #1, 1953 series. ;) Noticed chopped versions of my scans of Black Jack 21 and 24 were just announced in another user's upload thread also. Let me know if you want the originals uploaded. :)
-
fett, yes please upload them. I just see new books in the upload section and put them up. They looked like they were small in file but I didn't think anything of it. I checked but didn't notice those files in our system. They all seem to be from the same user.
-
fett, Zoo Funnies #1 is up as well as Blackjack 21 & 24.
-
Thanks for the Charltons and Jungle Jim, Fett. Cheers, Jeff
-
Hi fett,
I've got 10 issues of the JVJ 1945-48 series of Zoo Funnies in the to-do list, so if you're planning to do any of those, we might want to coordinate.
-
Yep saw your message. Don't plan on scanning any of the 40s Zoo Funnies series any time soon so knock yourself out. ;) I've got several of the 1st series scattered if better covers are needed, Jack in the box 12, and about a half dozen of the 1st cowboy western series.
-
Uploaded Tom Cat #8, Charlton.
-
It is now available for download. Thank you fett!
-
Bughouse 4 is now here in Ajax
-
Thanks to fett it is here
-
Hi Fett, I just noticed while updating some titles that I am credited here as the uploader for Suspense Detective 003, but at DCM you are credited as the scanner. This is definitely one I just found on the net uncredited. So if this is your scan, then you deserve the credit.
The really odd thing is Suspense Detective 2-4 are nowhere on my HD right now. I know I read them, I commented on them when I found them. Talk about suspense!

Maximilian, go ahead and attach appropriate notes on the file entry if you like. We try to make sure the original scanners/uploaders are always credited. You have to remember which egg came first, and the GAC copies were uploaded first, which explains part of the suspense.
