I uploaded Big Shot #69 from Columbia. It features Skyman, Tony Trent (the Face's secret i.d.), Sparky Watts, and couple of others.

Thanks Very Much CC!
It made it up and I've just took a look at it.
Not a bad first scan.
If you're uploading anything more in the future you only need to name it "xxxx.cbz"
The extra ".zip" at the end isn't needed. :)
I see you had a war with the binding. Not uncommon with those larger books. It makes it a bugger to scan eh?
Thanks for filling this hole in the collection!

And welcome to a new scanner! Yay!

Bravo, Crimson. Keep 'em flying!

Indeed. lol

Thanks, funny story about this book though. Only paid a $1.50 at my local comic book shop for it. I don't think they realized the value of the book.

Bonus! Ignorance was our bliss!

Found a scan of Blackhawk 52 and added it to the site. no watermarks and I credited the scanner.

CA,
If you used the 'Upload File' link on the site your latest find wont be showing up anytime soon.
Please read the new ticker link about the login error and uploading problems.

Bottom line - you'll need to upload those BH52 scans to a site like www.mediafire.com and post the link here for Narf or myself to use.
Please double check the indicia on the bottom of the ifc to be sure it's really #51 as I've seen this book shared with that name but it was actually another issue.
Take care,

I'll check all of this stuff out thanks Yoc.

Recently bought Mont Hale #80, Six-Gun Heroes #75, and Fightin' Air Force #14. Will scan these books when I get a chance so everyone can enjoy them.
-
we look forward to them and appreciate it thanks Crimson

Just upload Four Color #596 (1954) from Dell featuring the first appearance of Turok. Enjoy.
-
Better get John C to check this one or hopefully someone will step up. We know Turok is trademark but not sure about pd status if it was or was not renewed. This may well fall into the category of non renewed.
-
Always a good idea to check. Your correct though since it was published in 1954 it would be a renewal matter since all 1923-1963 required renewal. Hopefully this one will be in the clear.
-
Poking around on www.copyright.gov/records, I found renewals for every issue BUT "Turok, Son of Stone # 596". I know I don't have the expertise of John C or some others, but so far it looks to me as if it is Copyright-Free.

Great if John C approves it it is a great book to have here
