I never knew Lou Fine did a comic strip. Even though he drew in the popular style of the day, it's well done.

Fine did another strip after this, the hardboiled detective strip Peter Scratch. I don't believe it's been collected, though it appeared in the weekly Menomonee Falls Gazette in the 1970s (scans are floating around the internet). It was a fun strip. Young Neal Adams ghosted a week or so...his first newspaper work?
