Another wonderful anthropomorphic-funny animals comic series. It's always a pleasure to see Al Fago comics, but the other comic artists have done an excellent job too. :-)

Al Fago in this early case, only stands for Al, himself.  But, later, in Frisky Fables Novelty Press published and distributed run, it represented The Al Fago Studio, which included art by Al's brother, Vince, and occasionally, other artists, such as Ellis ("Holly") Chambers, and Howie Post.  This particular book was half drawn by Al Fago, and half by Jason Art Studio (JCA), which also had a large crew of New York Area artists.

Later in the series (1948) Star Publications picked up its publishing and production, and brought Al Fago along with it.  In 1949, with Robert Farrell involved, the series name was changed to "Frisky Animals".
