A mysterious email popped up demanding to know why I have nominated the team of Cap, Hawkeye, Wanda, Quicksilver as the absolute best period of The Avengers. Because it's a no brainer, well, apart from when the Prince of Power joins.
What has this to do with TTA. ?
No idea.

I have nominated the team of Cap, Hawkeye, Wanda, Quicksilver as the absolute best period of The Avengers.
No real argument, this was when the Avengers really became a team and not just a group of guest stars.
But I have a soft spot for this team,
Black Knight, Sersi, Crystal, Hercules, the Vision, and the Black Widow. Their primary antagonists in this run were the mysterious Proctor and his team of other-dimensional Avengers known as the Gatherers.
The great art didn't hurt either.

Excellent Panther but now I need to find those Gatherers issues as I'd forgotten about them.
Much good reading ahead. I do love super teams, even the daft or crappy ones.
