Title: Hugo Gernsback editing comics?
Post by: RickDeckard525 on January 22, 2016, 05:50:48 AM
Yoc just uploaded a comic called Superworld comics #2 that appears to be edited by none other than Hugo Gernsback, one of the fathers of science fiction. https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=60360

It's even got an editorial by him about sleep-learning!

But that's not all! Look at the first story and you might notice that the aliens featured look kind of familiar...

They bear more than a passing resemblance to the classic martian featured in Gernsback's revolutionary Science and Invention Magazine!

I can't find any information about this comic on the internet, so this is an important new discovery in the history of science fiction and comics. We should tell someone about this or something...

Wait up, the aliens look the same because I think they're both by legendary sci-fi illustrator Frank Paul who worked for Gernsback on most of his publications!

Great find, Yoc!
