Hello guys ! Thanks for your answers, but i can't find any of the characters you're talking about in the digitalcomicmuseum...
Are the comics concerned in the public domain ?
Can you give me some links ?
Thanks
-
No the characters we are mentioning are all DC or Marvel, i.e. NOT PD
For all intensive purposes there are no well known bald comic characters in the public domain, they all belong to DC & Marvel.
This is not Digital Comic Museum this is Comic Book Plus (we're better!).
Just do a google image search on the names, you'll find plenty of pics.

We're not better we are "different" lol
-
we have more stuff, and in greater variety
more + greater variety = better
-
Hmmmm not sure ... anyway they are our friends and coolio dudes!

What Mark said!!!!! ;D DCM is an excellent, well run site. They simply work from a different standpoint compared to CB+. But I'm glad we're here and can host the amazing variation of comics, storypapers, pulps and all the other great stuff that we've scanned/found over the years.

Getting back to baldy baynes, there was Bald Eagle in Hillman's Air Fighters Comics. Also a couple of bald characters in British titles but I can't remember who or where.
Oh, of course, The Mekon from Dan Dare. What a great villain, right up there with the best comic book villains. Martian Manhunter, but that's another non-pd character. Going to check through some of the British comics sites, see if I can come up with others.
The British weekly, Battle and Valiant in 1977, had a war series called Darkies Mob, which featured Cap. Joe Darkie, a bald, British soldier. Series ran for quite a while, I think
Purely fyi, and not that I'm boasting, I have full head of hair, nicely cut by the young lady in The Barbers, Linlithgow. 8)

Well done Paw!
I would suggest Ciclone the super hero in the Italian Non English section. He was certainly bald.
....and FYI I too have a nice full head of hair....although I need a bit of a trip round the edges. Ciao ya'all.

Lothar, Mandrake's assistant, was bald.

Yes, Lothar, who, for some deviant reason Dynamite have decided should be The Phantom :o
