As usual you beat us to it-LOL, here in the UK we have over ten hours of 2009 remaining.

It is all over here now bar the storm, southern Tassie had a more natural display to go along with the fireworks this year. After a hot and windy 38 degrees celcius we had a reasonably dry but colourful thunderstorm that knocked out the power for 3 hours. They managed to repair the damage before midnight, thankfully.  :)

Time for Lara to loose her Christmas hat.

Happy New Year, everyone!  Just over two hours to go.  No party this year, just a quite night at home with the wife and kids.

I miss "Laughing In The New Year", but considering that everyone I mention it to has no clue what I'm talking about, I guess I'm the only one who does.  Oh well, I'm sure craptastic countdown show is on some channel somewhere.
