I settled on "TwinPistols" for my username...I'm brand spanking new to this site and I'd figure I'd take a moment out from enjoying the classic comics here to say hello.
Real quick: I'm 30, and I've been reading comics since I was eight. I was a Marvel kid, and a devoted fan for years, but now I've completely lost my taste for their books, so I went Indie. I'm a HUGE fan of Dynamite entertainment now and through their Project Superpowers line I got turned on to a wealth of Golden Age Superheroes and history I didn't even know existed, and I'm very greatful for it... Now I know Marvel's Daredevil wasn't the first hero to go by that name, and I've just read my first Western Ghost Rider comic.
Other than Superheroes and Cowboys (and Pirates) I like my Horror, Sci-Fi and War comics. So, I think I'm in the right place. This site is a gold mine of comics history! Way to go guys!!

Welcome aboard and enjoy the goodies. Don't hesitate to chime in here either.

What Yoc said. We know not everybody can provide scans; interesting discussion is appreciated just as much. I'm not sure how well others are doing but I can barely keep up with our new scans, much less make a dent in our backlog. :P

I stopped reading Marvel some ago. Only get JLA/JSA from DC. I get a few indies usually the only one for each title at our LCS. I spend more time talking bout comics online than reading them. Welcome to the fold Twin
