Who are the biggest celebrity comic book geeks?
I'm aware of a few of the more obvious: Quentin Tarantino, Jonathan Ross, Kevin Smith, Nic Cage
Digging a bit deeper into my brain, I can name: Rosario Dawson, Megan Fox and Elvis Presley (big fan of Captain Marvel Jr)

Maybe we should change the wording to "Which celebrities are or were the biggest comic book geeks?", if we're going to include people who died around 45 years ago?
I'll be curious to see people's responses to this question, but I have little knowledge of any of today's current celebrities in ANY of the of the 5 countries where I reside each year, as I have lived in the past for the past 50 years, and don't watch current TV, news, films, or listen to radio.
I do have some knowledge of comic book fandom in those countries, especially during the 1940s through 1960s in USA and Canada, and 1940s through today in Western and Northern Europe. And based on that, I would guess that for USA and Canada, a large % of all people (especially males), who were raised in the 1940s and 1950s would have been big comic book fans growing up, and so, a given % of those would have loved them enough to keep those books into adulthood, and read them to their children. Another, smaller % of those will continue to buy comic books, and could be considered "Comic Book Geeks". Another, smaller % of those would also be celebrities of some kind. The same holds for Northern and Western European countries (plus Greece), and would extend from those raised in the 1940s through the 1990s, when comic books were tremendously popular entertainment as a % of all available entertainment options. 20 to 30 years later, comic books are much less popular than when they were at their height, so the number of so-called "comic book geeks" among them, should be a lot smaller.
However, during the 1940s,'50s, ', and '60s, possibly also during the '70s, people in the public's eye were more reticent to admit that they were still comic book lovers as adults; whereas, since the 1980s, with the omnipresence of hidden cameras and Worldwide media, everything about a celebrity will be known anyway, so there is no point in trying to hide anything. So, it is more likely that the public will learn which celebrities are fans of any particular pursuit.
Based on the fact that just about every boy I knew in Canada, USA, and The Netherlands during the late 1940s and 1950s were reading comic books especially because we had no TV at home, and when we finally got it, there were very few programmes to watch, and limited hours, I would guess that plenty of celebrities would still love their comic books into adulthood, and introduce them to their children. But most of those people are too old to be termed current celebrities, and wouldn't be in the public eye very much anymore. I'll be surprised to find out who is still a big comic book geek. And not only am I likely to not have heard of the celebrity, but I'm likely to not have heard of the comic book series and authors and artists they read and collect.

Nicholas Cage once had a huge comic collection, which I believe he has since sold. He had a determination at one time to play Superman, and was even in serious talks about doing it.Nothing against Cage personally' but I'm very glad it didn't happen. Back in the 70's and 80's an interest in comics was normal from Rock and Popular Music celebrities. Some wrote songs about or inspired by comics. No names come to mind just now.
