The Science Fiction (& Fantasy) Writers of America have voted to allow graphic novelists and comic book writers into their ranks - provided they focus mainly on SF & Fantasy. It means that a new Nebula Award will probably be created in the comic book sub-genre.

The BSFA (British Science Fiction Association) has always had more open entry requirements - you only need to be a fan - and is more active in producing its own material. You can find it here:
