Wallace Morgan is a sadly-forgotten master from the Golden Age of pen and ink. While many pen artists liked to render their work (e.g. Gibson, Flagg, Lowell), Morgan favored more of an outline-driven approach seemingly influenced by England's Phil May. Much of his work was actually drawn with a sharply-pointed brush rather than a steel pen. Page 34 is a beautiful example.
