A Guilty pleasure!
I always recognized the fact that Tippy was an Archie series clone, with work from the best artists on that series. [' Shorten brought in Samm Schwartz from Archie Comics to Edit and oversee the book, so naturally, Schwartz got work for Archie artists Harry Lucey, Dan DeCarlo, and Bob White.']
My interest in these books as a young teenager is perhaps less surprising given what apparently went on behind the scene with these books. [' As well as Harry Lucey's famous female poses. If the stories were true, and Lucey would turn his art in with the female characters not wearing any clothes, uh... the inkers certainly got an eyefull!']

Makes me want to go back and read them again!
Cheers!

While artists do sketch out the body underneath the clothes and those can be described as technically nude it's closer to Barbie doll nude rather than Playboy nude. No nipples, no vagina, etc.

Although, I was at one of my nephew's birthday parties at a local park. The kids were off playing, the other adults were doing something, so I pulled out my artpad and started sketching a comic for my webcomic. As I was drawing Gertrude & Brunhilda I realized that if someone looked at what I was drawing they could jump to the wrong conclusion, so I quickly drew in the clothing with heavy lines so they didn't look naked.  ;)
