Claude Lefrancq editeur
Tried to find this Belgian publisher on the web, but apparently they went Bankrupt at some point and are no longer in existence.
That's a shame because they specialized in Detectives - with a side helping of Scikence Fiction comics.
They published comics for
Arsene Lupin, Biggles, Edgar Wallace, Fantomas, Maigret, Nero Wolfe, Sherlock Holmes, Father Brown.
And a number of French detectives and adventure series.
They put out a series of compilations of a space comic strip Meteor - which I know nothing about - but looks like a 1950's strip - or early 60's.
Can anybody enlighten me?

The GCD's listing https://www.comics.org/publisher/5171/
Some minor info can be gleaned from this Wikipedia article on artist Jean-Fran?ois Miniac (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Fran?ois_Miniac).
Another artist who worked for the publisher https://www.lambiek.net/artists/s/severin_alec.htm
Some info on the Biggles books they published https://www.biggles.nl/en/miklo.html
Oddly enough a Google search also brought up this thread. *waves at people looking up info on the publisher*

Thank you Scrounge.
From GCD, they also published 2 volumes of Jules Verne, 'Reis naar het middelpunt der Aarde' [Journey to the center of the earth.] 2 two volumes.
The cover of that is very period.
And here is Alex Severin's La Machine ? explorer le temps - The Time Machine.

Haven't seen a copy of that yet.
27 series, 174 issues. [From 1988 to 1998 primarily, with one title published in 2004.
Cheers!

Meteor was a pocket library series, sf, and many digital copies are available. Don't know if it is the one Panther mentions, but I can find out the publisher when I fire up my ext hard drive. The issues I have are in French.
