Title: Hello from Virginia + Question
Post by: fmaudio on January 08, 2022, 05:47:44 PM
Hi Folks;
This is s great website, I'm a fan of drawings from 1920's-30's and this site has a lot of vintage art, I appreciate the effort to keep it live and organized, there's something I don't quite understand about public domain and I was wondering If I can get help from you guys. if a drawing from a comic is on the public domain, does that mean I can use it for a print like a poster or a t-shirt?
I understand the copyrighted stuff like a copyrighted character but public domain not much, can you guys point me to an article or tell me basics of public domain in printed material/magazines.
I appreciate it.  :)
Thank you
fmaudio

fmaudio,

see the search bar at the top right?

Enter 'Public Domain' there and you will get referred to a heap of posts on the subject.
Happy reading.
