If it's a one-shot why is it #2?

Avon had already published an unnumbered Captain Silver one-shot earlier in 1945. When Avon released this issue they called it #2. In 1949 an outfit calling itself "Captain Silver Syndicate, Inc." published two more issues. These picked up the Avon numbering and became #s 3 and 4. We have all four issues here at CB+.
