It started in earnest when I bought two American comics while on holiday at the age of seven. One was an Aquaman comic and one was Hulk #140. Both scared the living daylights out of me - if you recall, the Hulk tale is the one written by Harlan Ellison where the Hulk shrinks down into a microverse world. The giant hand gave me nightmares for ages but I was hooked ...
Not too up on the Golden Age stuff except by reputation so I am looking to download shedloads of stuff and learn ... :)
