Title: Report Missing Scanner Credits
Post by: builderboy on December 08, 2010, 01:22:40 PM
One of the results of our recent crash was the loss of many of the credits for the files that are posted here.  We take this seriously, and would love it if you come across a file that has a generic credit (GAC or GAC-UK), for which you know the source.

Post it here, and we will be certain to make sure that the credit is restored.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Alarming Tales #1 and #4 give "NarfStar" the credit for the upload on those please.
Thanks.

Some of the file names have the scanner included. I have not been taking the time to put them on at this time but would rather spend the time getting more books up.

Don't worry Narf, those are the ones I like to hit. I will hit a slew in the coming days, so please focus your energies on getting more books up.  ;D

Space Action, all of the issues up'd by me (plus scanned & edited) with help from JVJ for the original books of coarse.

Also as a bonus to you folks, I've up'd #3 of the series, it's on the ftp awaiting it's placement in the "Ace" book section please.

I imagine that if you use the credits given on the DCM site you would be fairly close in most cases.

I thought about that when putting them back onsite but it is already such a time consuming process that I did not believe it a priority but still a good suggestion.

Wham Comics 001 raw paper scans credit: fox_centaur, edited scans: ALV910
Wham Comics 002 raw paper scans credit: fox_centaur, edited scans: snard
Funny Pages v4 001 raw scans credit: fox_centaur, edited by ALV910

I don't see Wham 002 here but I had thought it had made it over from the DCM the first time I uploaded it there.  Likewise there's a fox_centaur scanned, snard edited Junior Comics 09 (Fox) on DCM that y'all are welcome to have as far as I'm concerned.

Error scan image file may be corrupted, or even a few pieces of information on two data overlap the scanning result information data processing centers are not sufficient to approve your application. Application data they need to make the original department store to find your original, re-scan can further processing. Here there is a possibility of your original and others confused the original, can not find, so you need to re-offer.

See the above? Its spam. Spammers think we are dumb and do not recognize their antics. Go away spammers. Find somewhere else to post your banality.

I almost deleted this myself the other day when I ran across it but the same person had made a short courteous introduction over at DCM which lead me to believe that English may have been a second language for them and was here unsuccessfully trying to get across some problem they were having.
