Ok I had to pass this on!!! This guy has a bunch of coverless choice material for scanning including a Kid Eternity #1 and Crack #4. I suggest we may want to post our interests before we bid so we are not bidding against each other for the purpose of scanning and posting. I there are some books someone wants to collect have at it.

Too Funny!
I was roaming ebay tonight and saw a bunch of coverless goldenage and a 50 book collection of a misc. goldenage up for bid.
I was thinking of posting how dangerous ebay can be when these books get paraded in front of you they way they do.
Gets tempting.
Really tempting.

The Doc Savage has been calling my name even though I can not post it here. Resistance is futile :P
-

-
There's some good stuff there and NO mistake, some of those Harvey Books have taken my eye so maybe i'll try for a last second snipe on a couple of them. ;)

I see them babies went for over a grand. Too much green for any of my capers but the Pics were enough to make one drool over a bit. Made one think,'well, if I could get them and scan then resell...
Let's see, 52 books would have made a cost of one a week at...'
be planning for the future

Nice thought there Rez.
I noticed many of them had already been scanned so that makes it a bit easier to see them fly away right?
-
I Just got a US Jones 2 coverless but otherwise complete on Ebay just recently........ :-)

Yep, always glad to see any excuse to talk me out of buying more books.
Been thinking of selling some books and putting the cash into a larger monitor and a better grade scanner.

Of those coverless books on offer I managed to score one Harvey Comic, SPEED_041 but lost out on the others but as a bonus managed to pick up an old Fiction House book, JUNGLE_029 so not a bad evenings work. ;D
I was chasing more but my recent purchase of POLICE COMICS_035 left me 'high and dry' cash wise so I had to reign myself in and let the others escape me. :(
So then the BIG question is did anyone else here manage to grab any of these issues and if so can we hope to see them showing up here before long ? 8)

They all went over my limit before I even bid. I was going after the relisted Champ but it went right away.
He has another good batch up now. If anyone wants to try for some cheap westerns here is a link.

Don't know what to make of that.
I recently got beat copies of 1954 Plasticman #50, a Farrell 1953 War Stories #5 and an old Barks duck for peanuts but missed some decent priced books that would have been nice to have as a VIC VERITY #2 (1946)**GOLDEN AGE**C-BECK that went for $6.50.
-
I missed a Don Fortune #1 that recently went cheap
-
Well ya know, I just gotta ask how much it sold for? ::)
-
I think it was under five bucks shameful miss

Thanks for that Jim, to be honest its the Plastic Man issues of this series that are top of my wanted list.
Still I AM going to keep an eye on this issue and maybe if I can get it for the right price it would be worth having.

This guy is a seller to watch. He has some great deals ofn low grade comics, and will make deals on the shipping.
-
If you want some Quality Comics good place to look
-
Not a bad selection of some of the less sought after Quality tiles like Hit and Feature.
An Ebayer worth watching.

The current high bidder right now on everything Golden Age and unscanned that this guy is offering is a scanner -- an excelelnt scanner, so there's no need for others to chase this.
(I isn't me)
