Although we cannot host these comics here, the Victor/Hornet site has some examples of the Victorian superhero, Spring Heeled Jackson - later referred to as Spring Heeled Jack. Note the costume changes and the later, less powerful version in the last 2 examples. A well drawn, atmospheric strip, this has always been one of my favourite British heroes.
