Title: Error message
Post by: BobS on October 30, 2008, 10:33:27 PM
Error: Your session ID does not match the session ID for this download link. If you are following this link from our site, please report it to the admin.. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin

I'm getting this error over and over.
If I go to User CP after getting the error and then try again, SOMETIMES I can download without getting the message again.

What's going on?

Best,
Tars Tarkas

Can you now try again for me and let me know if you get same error message?

If still doesn't work get a new session id by logging out of site and back in and try again.

I've changed a setting now and your the test user who can see if it works for all.

Thanks

Ok thanks a lot for reporting back. I'm going to disable session id's for all users who registered on download scripts so in future if you (all other users reading this) get this error chances are you are a guest user :)

Hi there! I signed up for two accounts today. And in both cases I get this message: Error: "Sorry but you are not allowed to download this file as you have exceeded the number of files you are allowed to download during this period. Please check your user control panel for more information on the limits currently available to you. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin." I tried the "UserCP" thing and it's always zero. I haven't been able to download anything today. Thanks in advance.

Should be sorted now.
