found this tidbit on HA

From the HA listing description:

Warren Kremer Chamber of Chills #19 Cover Preliminary/Concept Sketch Original Art Group (Harvey, 1953). Double your chills with these two macabre Warren Kremer cover concept sketches for issue #19. This scene gained extra notoriety when it was adapted for the 1980s album cover of the Misfits' "Die, Die My Darling"! Included here are a 7.5" x 13" pencil and red pen on vellum design, complete with explicit art instructions to finished cover artist Lee Elias. Also included is a superb 7.5" x 11" mixed media (ink, watercolor and colored pencil) on vellum version of the scene. Each pulse-pounding piece has some overall glue staining, wear, and creasing; otherwise, they average Good condition.
