Classic British story paper excitement. I assume there were other Terhune stories?

There were seven Terhune stories between 1942 and 1949 including my favourite detective story title "Was It the Gorilla?
I always thought Terhune was the most useless detective I read about.  He regularly came across bodies though each series and only when he came across the villain in the act of killing another victim in the last episode did he suddenly suspect him.
