Greg Sanders, the Vigilante, of course.

This does beg the question, what do you mean by "Vigilante hero?"

What's your favourite Vigilante hero.

At the moment I am all about the masked mystery men ala Phantom Reporter, Black Spider, Crimson Avenger, Lady in Red, etc.

By vigilante hero do you mean any "hero" or ones that just bump off the bad guys?

Personally I am very partial to pre-Robin GA Batman. He had no qualms about bump'n off the bad guys.

Whatever definition you can relate the term to is fine.. I meant the usual crimefighters who broke laws and are mostly wanted by the police as well.. unlike characters like Superman.

My choice as well.
In one story I remember he rescued a hood, acted like a friend, then set him up to be killed so he could be sure his dying declaration was the true skinny.

I have the Batman Archive 1 and totally agree. Batman was the best until Robin. Next of course would be the Green Hornet
